AeroDarat Services (ADS) recently participated in Baka Aircademy’s career talk and open day session held at the vibrant city of Kuching on 30th July 2023. The event, which aimed to provide insights into various careers within the aviation industry, witnessed the enthusiastic presence of more than 120 attendees, including parents and potential students of Baka Aircademy.
This marked the second time that ADS had collaborated with Baka Aircademy for their career talk, the first one being held on 16th July at SVOFO @ Sky Garden, Sunway Nexis Kota Damansara. The initiative highlights ADS’s commitment to nurturing young talents and promoting career opportunities in the aviation sector.
The career talk session in Kuching featured Norjanah Mat Resih, ADS Duty Supervisor Domestic Ops Kuching, sharing her vast industry experience, illuminating glimpse into the operational aspects of ADS and the diverse job opportunities that the company offers. During the engaging session, Norjanah shared her personal journey within the aviation industry and elucidated the pivotal role played by ADS in ensuring efficient ground handling services at airports across Malaysia. She emphasized the importance of a well-coordinated ground handling process, which encompasses essential tasks such as baggage handling, passenger boarding assistance and others.
In addition to addressing potential students, Norjanah also engaged with parents, assuaging their concerns and providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the stability and prospects associated with a career in ground handling. The attendees were informed about the training and development programs offered by ADS to groom and upskill its employees, providing a nurturing environment for personal and professional growth.
ADS actively supports the youth in their pursuit of a fulfilling career in aviation, partnering with institutions like Baka Aircademy to foster knowledge and awareness about the industry.
