On 27 June 2018, Airbus Industrie’s brand new A330neo landed at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for a static display as part of its South East Asia tour. As the chosen ground handler in Kuala Lumpur, AeroDarat Services provided the necessary ground equipment and operations support between 27 and 30 June 2018.

As part of the A330neo’s South East Asia Tour, the aircraft flew to Manila on 27 June and returned to Kuala Lumpur on the same day before flying to Jakarta on 28 June. The aircraft also made stops in Bangkok and Hong Kong before returning to KLIA, ahead of its departure to Mauritius on 30 June.

The A330neo is capable of flying from South East Asia to Europe non-stop and is equipped with the Airbus Airspace cabin feature, offering customers an enhanced flying experience.

AeroDarat Services Sdn Bhd welcomed Indian Prime Minister, His Excellency, Mr. Narendra Modi upon his arrival in Kuala Lumpur on 31 May 2018. The Air India B747 aircraft from Indonesia carrying 69 delegates landed at Kompleks Bunga Raya at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 10:51 am.

Mr. Narendra Modi arrived in Kuala Lumpur for a brief stopover to congratulate the newly-elected Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad before departing at 2.00 p.m., the same day, to Singapore for a three-day official visit.

In preparation for the arrival of the Indian Premier, AeroDarat Services had prepared equipment and the necessary operations support from 7.00 a.m. Also present at the welcome event were, AeroDarat’s Head of Business Development, En. Shamshul Amree Salleh and Cik Nur Shabila Kamarudin, AeroDarat’s Account Management and Marketing Analyst.

AeroDarat Services has added yet another feather to their cap by bringing in the business of their brand new customer, Small Planet Airlines. The airline, had its inaugural flight to Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) from Macau on 18 April 2018. The flight was operated using an Airbus 320 aircraft.

Small Planet Airlines, a Lithuanian leisure airline based at Vilnius Airport, is a subsidiary of the Small Planet Group which also owns several sister companies such as Small Planet Airlines (Cambodia), Small Planet Airlines (Germany) and Small Planet Airlines (Poland).


(Cambodia), offers direct flights twice a week from Macau to Kota Kinabalu on Wednesdays and on Sundays.

Also present were Kota Kinabalu Station Head, Encik Nik Roseli Mohd Kamaludin and some of the operational staff based at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport.
