Aerodarat Services Sdn Bhd successfully completed its initial IATA’s Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) between 12 and 16 November 2018. ISAGO is an internationally recognized programme aimed at improving safety within airport ground operations, reducing ground handling incidents and accidents as well as reducing the number of audits on Ground Service Providers (GSP). To be ISAGO certified, is a huge accomplishment for AeroDarat as the certification puts the company in the league of other global successful ISAGO certified Ground Services Providers such as Dnata, SATS and Menzies. This places Aerodarat Services a step closer towards achieving its vision to be the preferred Ground Solution for Global Airlines.

Aerotech Consulting GMBH was appointed by IATA as the official ISAGO audit agency handling the ISAGO audit for AeroDarat Services. Mr. Rene de Boer, Mr. Bereket Woldeselassie and Ms. Anna Kaynezhad represented IATA for the ISAGO audit on Aerodarat Services.  The audit was divided into two categories, Headquarters Audit and Station Audit-Kuala Lumpur (KUL). The Headquarters audit was held between 12 and 14 November and focussed on documentation. It ended with a two-day observation of operations at KUL station between 15 and 16 November. The audit took place successfully without a hitch, thanks to the hard work and cooperation from all Business Units involved.

AeroDarat Services is expected to be officially certified and awarded with ISAGO’s certification in February 2019 once all findings from the audit are closed.
