In conjunction with this year’s Deepavali celebrations, Malaysia Airlines will be releasing a special festive video that allows us to learn and appreciate the differences and similarities of culture and traditions behind the celebrations.  The video will be made available on all social media platforms.

Meanwhile, the national carrier’s Golden Lounge celebrates Deepavali from 1 November and 14 November 2020 where guests at the Domestic Lounge will be welcomed with a unique Deepavali decor which includes a Kolam, Kurtika Lamp, Indian decorative items, and Indian spices placed around the lounge and food counter.

The special menu will serve up Roti Prata & Dhall for breakfast, Chicken Biryani Served with Fry Gobi 65, Mango Pickle, Papadam & Cucumber Raita for Lunch and Dinner accompanied by dessert Kesari, Small Ladoo and Muruku.

For Muruku, it will be served in an individual packet and will be offered to each passenger as part of the Deepavali giveaways. Our Lounge’s reception staff will wear also don traditional Indian dress on 14 November 2020.

Kempen Kesedaran 3R (Reuse, Reduce,Recycle) pada julung kalinya dianjurkan oleh Jabatan Quality Assurance Safety & Security (QASS) telah diadakan di Ground Support Equipmemt (GSE) dimana sebelum ini kempen-kempen keselamatan seumpamanya diadakan di kawasan Terminal atau di Domestik stesen seperti Pulau Pinang (PEN), Kota Kinabalu (BKI), Kuching (KCH) & Sandakan (SDK).  Berbeza dengan tema kempen-kempen keselamatan sebelum ini, “Kempen Cakna Alam Sekitar” adalah tema kempen yang telah diadakan pada 3 October 2019. Kempen Kesedaran 3R ini telah dirasmikan oleh En Nadziruddin Mohd Basri, Ketua Pengarah Executive AeroDarat Services (ADS)

Objektif utama kempen kesedaran 3R ini diadakan adalah untuk memupuk minda warga kakitangan ADS dengan memberi kesedaran tentang pentingnya kitar semula, mengawal dan mengurangkan pencemaran, menanam rasa tanggungjawab serta memupuk semangat cintakan alam semulajadi. Oleh yang demikian, kempen 3R harus dipupuk bermula dari rumah serta di zaman persekolahan lagi untuk memelihara alam semula jadi demi generasi yang akan datang.

Antara agenda yang telah berlangsung adalah ceramah bertajuk 3R yang disampaikan oleh En Mohd Farid Wajidi bin Mustafa dijemput khas dari Jabatan Kitar Semula dan juga ceramah bertajuk Ergonomics yang disampaikan oleh Pn Nurul Husna binti Baharin dari TTMC. Sepanjang kempen kesedaran ini berlangsung terdapat pelbagai aktiviti telah dijalankan antaranya kuiz mengenai 3R melalui kahoot applikasi ,

Para peserta dan penganjur sangat berpuas hati serta  berasa gembira kerana selain daripada mendapat ilmu dan kesedaran mengenai 3R, mereka juga dapat menyertai secara langsung aktiviti kitar semula, sebagai contoh mereka telah membawa bahan kitar semula seperti kertas-kertas terpakai, surat khabar lama, tin-tin minuman yang diperbuat daripada aluminum, botol-botol kosong dan sebagainya , untuk dikitar semula. Program kitar semula ini menawarkan penukaran bahan kitar semula kepada wang tunai tertakluk kepada perbezaan kategori masing-masing

Aviation Safety: Facing Futures Challenges together’ is the theme of this year’s MAG Safety Day 2019. This event organized by Corporate Safety Oversight (CSO) Department took place at MABA Kelana Jaya on 27th August 2019. It was officially opened by our Group CEO Captain Izham Ismail and joined by all staff from the MAG team. Special talk about safety and exhibitions from various organizations caught the attention of everyone since the topic is important to all of us. What is awesome is that AeroDarat received an award from one of MAG Board of Directors, Dr Mohamadon Abdullah for successful completion and earning the IATA Safety Audit ISAGO. Furthermore, our very own mascot CrocoD made his special debut and manage to put smiles and laughter to all participants in the event.

On 13th March 2019, we rolled out the red carpet to greet the South Korean President Moon Jae-in who arrived for a three-day state visit. The special chartered aircraft carrying President Moon and his wife, Kim Jung-sook, landed at the KL International Airport (KLIA) at 12.40 pm. Our foreign Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah, who is appointed as the Minister-in-Attendance, and International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Darell Leiking were on the tarmac to welcomed President Moon.
During this visit, President Kim will meet with our Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir and will be witnessing the signing of four memorandums of understanding (MoUs) involving industrial cooperation relating to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), cooperation in the field of transportation and the development of a Smart City in Malaysia, as well as cooperation in the halal industry.

Chinese New Year is back again this year. As we look forward to this New Year, let us also reflect on our valued friendships and not forgetting our Foreign Carrier Airlines (FOCA) who made us their preferred ground handler. As a token of appreciation to our FOCA, AeroDarat Services Business Development Team distributed box of Mandarin Oranges few days before Chinese New Year celebration.

Therefore, on this year, we hope that we will consistently delivering high quality ground experience, with safe, secure and reliable operations for our FOCA

After a challenging competitive bidding process by the IAG Group between AeroDarat Services against its competitors such as POS Aviation and Ground Team Red (GTR), another milestone is achieved. AeroDarat Services won a five-year Ground Handling Services Contract from British Airways and was appointed effective from 01st January 2019. The awarded contract is inclusive of Ground Handling, Cargo Handling and Lounge Services. With this five-year contract by British Airways, it is proof that they have confidence in AeroDarat Services.
